Montgomery "Good News" Moose character jug - American Greetings circa 1984

Montgomery "Good News" Moose character jug produced in Korea for American Greetings of Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1984. Montgomery "Good News" Moose is the leader of the Get Along Gang. Montgomery is a brown moose with yellow antlers. He wears a blue turtleneck, yellow pants and brown loafers. He is very nurturing and kind, and knows what's right or wrong, although he is sometimes awkward. Montgomery is also very well-rounded and excels in athletics, while tinkering in electronics and science. The Get Along Gang are a group of twelve pre-adolescent, anthropomorphic, animal characters in the fictional town of Green Meadow, who form a club that meets in an abandoned caboose and who have various adventures whose upbeat stories are intended to show the importance of teamwork and friendship. His antlers form the handles of this two-handled jug.
